WHY SHOULD I BUY A POEM FROM YOU?
Requesting a poem is simply a sweet and romantic thing to do for someone you care about. It shows them you care about them. You're more than welcome to make your own, and encouraged to do so. However, if you are feeling somewhat poetically uninspired or uncreative, that's where these services come into play. Try us out. If you're unsatisfied in any way with the quality of any poem you receive, you will be refunded in full.

Telling of your Love
Simply that. You want your girl to know you love her, and you want it expressed romantically in a poem. Give me any information about your girl ... her hair color, eye color, features, etc. Let me know things you'd like mentioned, such as reasons she's special to you.
Apologizing for Something
You did something or said something that did not demonstrate you at your best. You feel terrible about it. You want to let her know in a poem how badly you feel. Give me information about what you did wrong -- or if you don't want it mentioned, it can be a generic apology poem.
An incident
Did something happen in her life -- or both your lives -- that is very emotional, either very tramatic ... or very joyous. Perhaps there's been the death of a loved one. Or perhaps you've both had a child. Tell her that this experience in your life/ve(s) means something to you, and that you are there for her always. Let me know what happened and what message you want sent in the poem (you care, you're always there, time will heal, we'll always be together, etc).
Anniversary
It's you and your girl's anniversary (first kiss, first date, wedding, etc). Let her know in a poem how much you still care about her. Give me information like when your anniversary is...what your first date entailed, and any other information about your first meeting you feel necessary or special.
A Question To Ask
Ask her a question you've been meaning to ask. Want to ask her out this week on a date? Want to ask her why she's been elusive? If she's feeling down, depressed, concerned or sick? What to ask her slyly if she can be more affectionate? Ask it in a poem.
Valentine's Day
Want a Valentine's Day poem for your sweetheart? Perhaps complete the whole romantic-package with flowers, candy, and a poem? Of course, of those three, the poem is most important.
Rather than get a simple generic Valentine's Day poem, I can tailor one to your specific girl and talk about features, memories you've shared, how much you care, and whatever else you might want said. Make it special this holiday with a personalized poem for her.
Birthday or Wedding
It's the birthday of someone special. Or perhaps a wedding of a family member. Let them know they mean something to you in a poem. It'll be a nice present, or an addition to one.

A one time, low fee of $9.99. This is merely to cover the expenses of maintaining the website, as well as the time and effort in creating a lyrical masterpiece for you.
IF I'M NOT HAPPY, CAN I HAVE MY MONEY BACK?
Yes, you can. I put a lot of time and effort into any poem I work on; however, if you're unsatisfied with the poem(s) for any reason, just let me know via email and you will get your money back in full.
WHAT KIND OF INFORMATION DO YOU NEED?
Give me as much or as little information as you feel appropriate. For specific references to events, etc. provide me local references, anecdotes, backgrounds, descriptions - the more the better - and I will tailor it to your personal situation and tastes. For love poems specifically, try to give information about the girl's features you want mentioned (eye color, hair color, etc).

Quatrain Poem
Quatrains are made up of four lines. The rhyming pattern can be AABB or ABAB.
It can be of any length (short = 1 quatrain; long = 10+ quatrains). These are the most typical poems, and the one for which I have a particular affinity.

Sonnet
A rigid 14 line verse form in "Iambic Pentameter", with variable structure and scheme according to type:
A. Shakespearean(English): 3 quatrains and concluding couplet in iambic pentameter, rhymin abab cdcd efef gg or abba cddc effe gg.
B. Italian(Petrarchan): an octave and sestet, between which a break thought occurs. The traditional rhyme scheme is abbe abbe cafe cafe the sestet, any variation of c,d,e.

Ballad
A simple, narrative verse which tells a story to be sung or recited; the folk band is anonymously handed down, while the literary ballad has a single author

Villanelle
A French verse from strictly calculated to appear simple and spontaneous: five tercets and a final quatrain, rhyming aba aba aba aba aba abaa. Lines 1,6,12,18 and 3,9,15,19 are refrain.

Limerick
A humorous nonsense verse in five anapestic lines rhyming aabba: a-lines being trimeter and b-lines dimeter.

Free Verse
Unrhymed lines without regular rhythm.
